Al Alba is a fantastic hotel! It is not a real hotel more a bed and breakfast. The personnel is so helpfull. The rooms a really very clean. We stayed 4 nights in the Haima suite and this is really top! So nice with a terrace and longchairs. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choice and they serve everything on the table. We would stay again at Al Alba and we thank them for the lovely stay at Asilah!

The rooms were bright and big size, had a shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes. I loved both wake-up service and comfy bed.

Convenient Location 📍
This place is situated close to nicely designed public areas and just a short walk away from the town center. Additionally, it is located within easy reach of Restaurant al Kasaba, where I dined a few times.

Al Alba is a truly stunning guest house. The building and all the details and decorations are absolutely beautiful so that everywhere you turn your eyes meet some gorgeous detail. The blue and white scheme is so relaxing and it really feels part of the area, as you will see Assilah's medina is in these colors. I loved the shelves and shower made with crushed seashells, also to be seen on the promenade. It's a very special place to stay. Everything was nice and comfortable. The room we stayed in was small but very pleasant and there is a wonderful lounge space downstairs. Would be great for a group or family as well as there is this nice social space.

The Al Alba was one of the nicer accomodations that we stayed in during our trip to Morocco. Staff were very helpful and kind and they arranged a transfer for us from our accomodation in Chaoen which was very helpful. The location was nice, it was a 5 minute walk to the beach and the main medina is only 10 minutes away by foot. The room we stayed in was really comfortable and was quiet. The breakfast was good and we also had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was also tasty.
The only thing really missing from the Al Alba was an outdoor sitting area such as a terrace or deck. There is a nice location for breakfasts and dinners that is outside but it is covered so you can't catch the sun.

Spacious rooms, lovely balcony, great breakfast, helpful staff, free parking, close to beach.
Don't have any issues at all.

Al Alba is a lovely place, stylish yet cozy and with wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are decorated in a classic Moroccan style, very elegant and with unbelievably comfortable firm beds and fine linens. The breakfast was amazing - at least five types of bread plus fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice. We loved our time in the gentle, pretty town of Asilah which we visited off-season so were able to have delicious meals in seafront restaurants every night, and to while away hours eating and people-watching in the cafes of the main square. Highly recommended.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. So if you are only there for a night or two you might find it better to be in the Medina. Our room did not have a view, although those on the higher levels seemed to.

Easy to find, nice short walk to medina, good parking, spotless, good service
No rooftop sitting area, only few rooms with seaview cause it is one block off the sea.

We had a fantastic stay here! The hotel is located in a quiet residential area close to the town beach, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. The service was top-notch, with room service, car hire, and laundry facilities available. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist us, even arranging transportation for us to explore the nearby attractions. The spa and wellness centre was a great addition, with a jacuzzi and full body massages that were incredibly relaxing. The hotel also had a beautiful garden area where we could relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. we highly recommend this place for its excellent service, convenient amenities, and tranquil atmosphere.
The lack of information regarding early check-outs during the Eid al-adha festivities. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated in advance.

Al Alba is a sparkling little gem of a hotel. The interior is all white and blue, and the rooms are spotless. The staff are delightful, ready to help with any requests from guests, and the location is a convenient 15 minute walk from the lovely local medina. This was our last hotel after more than 5 weeks travelling in Morocco, and it left the best possible memories of a beautiful country.

Stayed at a charming B&B 10 minutes from the Medina. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the staff was very helpful. They even have a family room that accommodated us perfectly. The Moroccan breakfast was delicious and the option for Nespresso coffee was a nice touch. The small hammam and massage services were a great addition. Highly recommended.

very authentic place, nice personnel, the a la menthe as a welcome drink. free wifi.
a little bit far from the center (10 -15 min by foot). it might be noisy in the room if somebody is sitting in the soloon downsyairs.

a lot of food at the very very good breakfast. large beds and central heating and a seating area. very central location on the atlantic coast. based not far from the well-designed public areas, the beach boardwalk by the dubious dirt path next to the campground and the beach, town, the train station, 5, 10, and 15 minute walks respectively.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
